We recently published our new global five year strategy that sets out the direction for the future.

July 2020

Volunteer Update

Whilst we rather-excitedly reopened parkrun New Zealand at the beginning of July, since then we’ve not been able to schedule the return of any other parkrun countries. That doesn’t mean that things aren’t moving forwards positively behind the scenes, however, and we do hope that in the near future we’ll be in a position to announce more positive news.

Every Tuesday, throughout lockdown, we’ve published an update on each parkrun country’s blog page and shared that via social media channels. We’ve done this as part of our commitment to keep our communities as up-to-date and informed as possible, and in the meantime, we’d encourage everyone to keep an eye out every week for updates relevant to them.

Finally, with over 2,000 parkrun events on pause, we thought we’d take this opportunity to reassure all parkrun volunteers that as we look toward the future we remain confident that going forward will be able to maintain our simple model of event delivery, with volunteers at the heart of everything we do.

Thank you for your ongoing support,
