At parkrun, we want to empower event teams and ambassadors to encourage as many people as possible to discover the joys of lending a hand, and therefore build sustainable volunteering communities at parkrun events.

Incorporating global insight from parkrun surveys and feedback from event teams and ambassadors, we have created a step-by-step guide that covers the foundations to create a positive culture of volunteering alongside advice and tips to help build a team of volunteers.

We encourage ambassadors and event teams to use this guide on a regular basis to support volunteering in your communities.
